01What utilities does CLI locate?

Water, electric, sewer, gas, traditional cable, and fibre optic.

02Where does CLI operate?

In Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. All three regions are in season now. Call with the project address to confirm the routing.

03What do I need before requesting a locate?

The site address, planned dig dates, locate ticket number, requester role, and a working phone number.

04How long will the locate take?

It depends on the region, contract, request, and field conditions. CLI accommodates client completion-time requests and extensions. Confirm the timing when the request is routed.

05How do existing clients check ticket status?

Through the external Ticket Status portal. A status check is separate from a new locate request.

06Can procurement get insurance and compliance documents?

Yes. Ask for the dated package that applies to your operating region and review date. Current status is confirmed before any document or membership is represented.

07What about an emergency?

Call 1-866-892-6337 so CLI can confirm the current route. Do not rely on the form for urgent work.
