The work
Field work, outdoors, on live infrastructure. The job is to find what is underground and mark it before anyone breaks ground.

PPE, defensive driving, work-site hazard assessment, and monthly safety meetings are conditions of the job, not extras.
The ticket, the marks, and the field record follow the job. Locate performance and drawing accuracy are audited.
