Operations
One decision path for every ticket.
Every ticket in a clearing contract moves through the same decision path. Configurable buffer-zone logic compares the request against the network information provided for the contract. A trained technician then reviews the ticket and the available record. Buffer logic alone does not clear a ticket.
The outcome is one of two statuses: cleared, or locate required. The decision is recorded and included in monthly cleared-versus-required reporting, so the facility owner can review volumes, decisions, and the tickets that moved to the field.
The clearing workflow works with the network files already in use: ESRI Shape, DXF and DWG drawings, and mapped JPEG and TIFF records, connected to the wider operating record through Locatorbase.
