CLI's Training Course
CLI has developed a joint class and field training program that is 4-6 weeks long, which has been developed with multi-utility training. This includes exams that have been put into place to ensure that quality is maintained throughout the training process. CLI’s training areas are equipped with visual aids of pictures and actual physical items. For example, telecom pedestals, fiber optic cables, gas lines, power cables and other such items are used in training so that employees are familiar with them before they go on the field.

Continuous Training
Although the technical training is the same throughout CLI’s operations, CLI has continuously updated training manuals that reflect on each client’s expectations for each locate contract area. This is because procedures vary from one utility to another; therefore, having specific training items exclusively for each utility is necessary.
